I’m stepping down. This will be my last blog post. Last week I sold the blog, and all it’s contents to Elwood Earl “Sandy” Sanders, Jr.,  who will be taking over as owner and chief editor. Sandy’s been running the show around here for the past couple of months anyway. It’s about time he officially took over.

Without Sandy’s contributions over the past 6 months, this blog would have been long forgotten. Sandy, I appreciate all your efforts in keeping the blog going. You obviously have strong ideals, a passion for politics, and an appreciation for the potential candidate from Louisiana, Bobby Jindal.

I started this site back in November 2008 to be an advocate for Bobby Jindal and for the type of ideals and leadership he brings to office. My hope for this site is that it becomes a consistent voice of support for the Jindal, and for the ideals he represents. And if, and when he decides to make a run at the presidency, I know the Jindal 2012 Blog will be ready and in position to support Bobby in all of his efforts.

]]> http://jindal2012blog.com/new-chief-editor-and-owner-of-the-jindal-2012-blog/feed/ 1 First Night at the VA GOP Convention for the Assistant Blogger http://jindal2012blog.com/first-night-at-the-va-gop-convention-for-the-assistant-blogger/ http://jindal2012blog.com/first-night-at-the-va-gop-convention-for-the-assistant-blogger/#comments Sat, 30 May 2009 02:57:22 +0000 Elwood Earl "Sandy" Sanders, Jr. http://jindal2012blog.com/?p=165 Your Assistant Blogger, Sandy Sanders, was at the first day of the VA GOP Convention and related events!  I spoke to several Republicans who I told about the blog – everybody expressed interest in Governor Jindal.  One lady told me about her son who was and still is for Ron Paul (great idea there!) and she thought he might be interested in this blog.  I invited her to have him send me a blog post!  I believe the Ron Paul libertarian ideas are gaining traction in the GOP. 

Tomorrow will be the vote!  Your Assistant Blogger will be there in the pm (after an important sporting event – my son and daughter’s soccer game!) and we’ll continue to update you on the convention.  At 4:30 PM, the VA GOP Liberty Caucus will meet for an organization.  I encouraged a lady who is very active in the the RP campaign and the Campaign for Liberty to run for chairman.  We’ll see what happens.
