SPREAD THE THANKSGIVING WEALTH AROUND – IN NFL!
I wasn’t going to blog on Thanksgiving but after the inept Lions loss today I decided I would have to say a few words. Football and Thanksgiving are one and the same. But it seems it is the same teams all the time – Lions v. Packers or Lions v. Bears. Cowboys and Redskins or another East rival. Same ol’ same ol’ stuff!
Why not spread it around. Keep the Lions at home. Cowboys, too. But let the other four spots for turkey day games be scattered throughout the teams. The Saints have never (that I know of) been to a Thanksgiving game. There would be two NFC and two AFC teams every holiday. No team other than the Lions and Cowboys would play again until all the other teams have played – about eight years apart.
Meanwhile, we’re waiting for the Alabama and Saints games! Have a blessed Thanksgiving.

All I can say is the Packers were robbed, that was a total face mask at the end of the game.

Thanks for coming, Hugo. I agree it was a strange play and should have been reviewed. I also have followed the Packers since I lived in northern Michigan as a kid in late 60s and I met Bart Starr in the Chicago airport once and was a classmate of his son, Bart Starr, Jr. at Alabama (ROLL TIDE ROLL!) Law School. Of course the Saints are my favorite team – no flip-flopping at this blog!

Man, this week’s playoff games were really really bad, I mean awful, but at least the Packer game wasn’t bad. Thank God for the Pack. But, then they got that awful call at the end and lost. Then again, looking forward to watching the Vikes next weekend.

Thanks for coming by Mary Ann. I am sorry about the Packers but now its the Saints turn. I invite you to come back and also root for the Saints this year!
