CURLING IS GREAT! AN EXCITING BRAINY SPORT MORE SHOULD TRY!
I have been watching the Olympic curling coverage since Friday night off and on and all I’ll say is: It’s great! the strategy is intriguing and what they do with the curling rocks and brooms is exciting. An end can change in the strike of a rock. I saw the Swedish men’s team score three points with one US rock being struck. I also saw how rocks are set up to guard other rocks. It’s exciting to watch.
I have never picked up a curling broom in a real game because my hometown, Richmond, Virginia has no curling club. Perhaps that may change! But, try a curling match on MSNBC before the Olympics are over.
